The aim of the teaching is twofold. Firstly, there is the connection of the soul and the personality, or the building of the bridge of consciousness between the personality and the soul. This can be called living in the here and now. Secondly, there is working as a soul. This is a continuation of the first part, and involves the function of taking part in the future in a conscious way.
